Who better to raise an adoptive child than one who has traveled 'that' road - or still travels 'that' road ?

I thought long and hard before we decided to adopt. I came to the conclusion that because I'm also adopted I would be more able to help when the identity crisis raised it's ugly head. That was one of the main reasons, that and I really, really wanted to be a mommy
